Here is Emma on her 1 month birthday. She was still in her baby acne stage but she was still cute. The blanket she is wrapped in was made for her by her Great Grandmother.
Emma's first month was full of memorable experiences but the biggest adventure was our trip to Charleston, her first of many. She got to meet her Thea Mary, Thea Alexis, and Uncle Barney for the first time. Alexis even put up a welcome banner for her just like our Papou used to do for us.
Emma also got to meet her Aunt Heather on her wedding day!
It's hard to believe that I can remember climbing in this tree when I was little!
Emma did get some time to relax in Daddy's arms and pose for the camera.
The most emotional I have been since Emma was born was this day. How I wish that my Yiayia and Papou could be here to see Emma and hold her.
I try to keep the happy thought in my head, though, that since Emma just came from Heaven, she must have just seen them...
